Kodak ESP 9 All-in-One Inkjet Printer at Photokina

The Kodak ESP 9 All-in-One Inkjet printers could be found throughout the booth busily printing out pictures.

Kodak's Ruben Tellez took a few moments to talk about the features of the Kodak ESP 9 All-in-One Inkjet printer.

Kodak Zi6 Pocket HD Video Camera

A lot of people came to the Kodak booth to see the new Kodak Zi6 HD Pocket Video Camera. It's easy, it's fun, it's HD and it fits in your pocket!

I used one to shoot video clips for this movie about bikes in Cologne.

Kodak and Photobuch XXL

Kodak participated in Photobuch XXL at Photokina.

It really is an extra extra large photobook and Kodak provided Kodak Picture Kiosk and Kodak Inkjet Printers for visitors to print pictures for the extra extra large photobook. For each picture posted, one Euro was donated to charity.

Kodak Picture Kiosks at Photobuch XXL.

Kodak Picture Kiosk in German.

Three Kodak Inkjet Printers that could be used for printing photos.

And here is the giant photobook.

Naturally I had to add my own picture. I just happened to have this one of my cat Stewie on one of my memory cards.

Steve Sasson & the World's 1st Digital Camera at Photokina

I heard that Kodak engineer Steve Sasson and the first digital camera that he invented were both going to be at Photokina. I wanted to meet them both.

The first digital camera travels in style.

I got to hold it. It's heavy.

Steve took walk around the booth and tried out the Kodak Zi6 HD Pocket Video Camera.

He also used the Kodak OLED Picture Frame.

On Saturday Steve will receive the German Photographic Society's highest honor, the Cultural Award.

As the inventor of the world's first digital camera, Steve is about as close as you can get to a rock star at Kodak. And he is a super nice guy.

Steve is also very tall.

Kodak products working together at Photokina

I have been posting about a lot of Kodak products here at Photokina. Here is a part of the Kodak booth that shows how all of the products work together! Now... try to follow along...

First a picture is taken of the model with a Kodak Z1015.

That picture is uploaded to a Kodak W1020 Wireless Digital Frame.

The Kodak W1020 Wireless Digital Frame on the podium sends that picture to another Kodak W1020 Wireless Digital Frame hanging on the wall.

The picture is then sent from the Kodak W1020 Wireless Digital Frame on the wall to a computer that is accessed by a Kodak Theatre HD Player.

A few clicks and the picture of the model is located by the Kodak Theatre HD Player and displayed on the HD TV.

... and displayed in a slideshow.

Next the picture is opened in Kodak Easyshare Software on the computer.

Kodak's John Bednarczyk uses Kodak Easyshare Software to send the picture to a Kodak ESP9 AIO Printer.

And that is an example of how Kodak products can work together.

Kodak OLED Wireless Frame at Photokina

Perhaps one of the most anticipated Kodak products at this year's Photokina was the Kodak OLED Wireless Frame.

Everyone wanted to see for themselves how amazing the images on the screen looked, and they weren't disapointed. It really is brilliant.

And look how thin it is!

Kodak's Pete Jameson explains more about the Kodak OLED Wireless Frame in this video clip.
