The Kodak Zx1 HD Video Camera at CES
This April, the next in our line of HD video cameras, the Kodak Zx1 will be available. The Zx1 is a little smaller than the Zi6 and has a weather- resistant design. (which I could totally use... I'm pretty rough on my Zi6!)
The Zx1 still takes SD cards and removeable batteries. It also has an HDMI port with an HDMI cable so you can watch your videos on HDTV. And since the Zx1 also works with an optional remote you don't even have to get off your couch to do so.
Kodak's Andrei Andrievsky walked through the features of the new Kodak Zx1 on the show floor.

Comment: Peter - the Kodak Zx1 is currently available for pre-order on the Kodak website at http://www.kodak.com/go/zx1 and will be on QVC on April 19th!

Comment: please oh please: can you give us a better clue as to when this is going to be availabe? It's listed as "April" but I see Amazon has May 15 . . . thanks for any info.
